As a third-generation builder, Craig has spent his life around the construction trades. During his childhood, he spent many days on construction sites in the West Bloomfield area, watching and learning as the crews build homes. The opportunity to create something different what would be a home to someone was his first love.

In 2009, Craig moved to Northern Michigan to work alongside his father and carry on the Boyd Construction legacy. Now with 32 years in the business he wouldn’t dream of anything else.

Craig is a hands on type of guy and works closely with clients to ensure there is 100% transparency with their project. Clients love working with Craig and says he makes what can be a stressful process into one that is more relaxed and enjoyable.

Aside from being Craig’s wife, Danielle is the gal you’ll get your monthly bills from. She compiles monthly billing statements and makes sure all incoming invoices aline with the quotes so she can track every penny that goes towards your project.

She is also the one that will work with you on all your selections and gets them on order so we can keep on schedule.

When not at the office, she is busy chasing after their three young children, Stephanie, Brianna and Colten.

Dennis is more then just our accountant, he is a man of many hats. In addition managing all incoming invoices and payables, he does weekly payroll, submits all permit applications, handles utility hookups, files inspections, obtains lien waivers and makes sure your selection binders are up to date.

Dennis brings his zest for life to the office and you can just tell he enjoys what he does. He makes a mean cup of coffee and don’t forget to ask him to make a batch of his homemade broccoli cheddar soup, you won’t regret it!

Tim is our rough framing guru and has been with us since day one. He as a wealth of knowledge and he likes a good challenge. Tim and Craig sit down and review each aspect of the project before we begin the job so they can mentally build your home before lumber is even ordered. This helps us catch things or get answers beforehand so it doesn’t delay the schedule once onsite. He runs a tight ship but the guys all respect one another and put in a hard days work day after day.

Trey too has been with us since day one. Clients love that he always has a smile on his face. He is there to make sure all the finial details are completed and coordinate the finish trades. He is Craig’s right hand man and a true asset to our team.

Trey grew up in Harbor Springs and has a beautiful daughter Lilly that keeps him on his toes when he’s not busy at the job sites.
